From the
Official Kerry Blog...
Presidential blogs have gotten a lot of press during this election cycle,
But there are thousands of other political blogs out there, and if they all work together, the progressive blogosphere has the potential to set its own fundraising records.
The owners of a number of political blogs have been stepping up to the plate to help John Kerry raise the money we need to defeat the Bush machine.
The last I heard, Bush had raised more than $150 million, and was working hard to raise more.
So kudos for Atrios, Angry Bear, Seeing the Forest, and Liberal Oasis--they've all got a link to our contribution page on their home pages, and they can keep track of each and every contribution you make there.[...]
The article goes on to mention that if you have helped raise money but weren't included, send them an e-mail and they'll point it out, but I think that after raising $35,509 (499 contributors as of 00:54:10 EST today) Markos deserves the recognition.
Thumbs up to the Kerry Blog for recognizing the netroots.
Thumbs down for ignoring Daily Kos.
